On Thursday, August 4, 2022, the inaugural online meeting of the Engaging Youth in a Digital Green Future program took place.

The coordinating body is DARNOJE from Lithuania, the educational institution INERCIA DIGITAL SL from Spain and the partners M L M M D C C Serbia and KDETYD from Greece.

The concern for environmental issues has been growing in the European Union the past years. The EU has placed the climate change issue high on its political agenda with the European Green Deal, presented in December 2019 by the President of the European Commission.

The main target of this project is to support the role of youth in European policies, society and democracy through the integration and reinforcement of their participation and contribution to the European Green Deal objectives.

The project management activities related to its coordination, management and control were discussed. The implementation activities as well as the strategic quality assurance and evaluation of the project.

Prior to the participants subsequent online meeting, the assignments were decided.
